For VidCon 2023, Meta tasked MKG with throwing a party for more than 800 creators, capped off with a live set from Coi Leray. The exterior of the venue was transformed with oversized graphics, purple carpet, entry moment, and step & repeat. Once inside, creators discovered a massive stage and theater, specialty cocktail bars, creative catering, and lounges inspired by the playful, chaotic aesthetic of Gen Z. In the role of lead designer, I collaborated heavily with a graphic designer on fabricated elements, and also consulted with a technical director and AV vendors to realize our design intent for the stage.
